With exponentially increasing stores closings, the retail environment is evolving at an accelerated rate due to changes made possible by the ever-evolving competitive landscape, evolving consumer behaviors, and innovations in technologies and business models. Consumers are becoming more sophisticated, with needs for personalization, uniqueness, as well as maximized values.  New retailers are morphing traditional businesses through changing the traditional retailing assumptions, and many retailers are implementing cutting edge new technologies to  enable consumers to make more informed decisions, receive more targeted and beneficial offers, and obtain faster services and improved experiences.  After an overview of what is going on in the fashion consumer market, this presentation will focus on the technological innovations in the fashion retailing industry.
