This course mainly deals with the principle and practice of Enterprise Operation and Management. An enduring framework to evaluate operations, identify opportunities to improve them, implement changes, and measure outcomes is introduced. The importance and scope of operations management, an appreciation for a systems perspective and scientific thinking, and a foundation in performance measurement are also introduced. What’s more, the key operations management initiatives have been explored, such as new product and services development, quality programs and technological applications. The process effectiveness, process quality and individual projects are also been focused on. This course lays the foundation for the students to adapt to engage in various works when they enter the society.
