The course of ‘Knitting Technology’ is a foundational core course for textile engineering. To meet the needs of fast development of Chinese economy, textile factories imported a number of advanced technology, techniques and machinery from oversea. To face this challenge, the bilingual course of Knitting Technology has become a compulsory course for textile majors. The course of Knitting Technology includes theoretic teaching and practice teaching, and teachers give lectures in English on the contents of the basic knitting principles, knitting technique, the composition of knitting materials and the design of knitting product. Practice teaching includes on-site teaching, experiment teaching, and operating on knitting machinery.
