The principles and methods of quality control are introduced on the basis of textile application. The objects and techniques of quality control are analyzed according to the characters of textile industries. The planning and action, sampling methods, inspection and analysis of production quality are introduces respectively.

      现代质量管理科学集管理学、专业技术、经济学、数学和信息学等多门学科于一体。本课程通过全面、系统地质量管理基本理论和方法的教学，在学生经过《概率论》、《数理统计》等课程的学习后，将机电类高等学校的必修课程引入到纺织工程专业的教学体系，树立学生质量意识，掌握质量管理基本原理和常用方法。这在纺织院校专业中是一个创新，同时，也符合现今对纺织工程专业本科生的知识结构要求。学生通过本课程的学习，能够适应今后各行业工业企业质量管理专门知识的需求，在一定实习基础上，可胜任相应质量管理岗位工作。
